Lynn Lowder
“Lynn brings his hard-earned combat leadership, business, and life experience into peoples’ lives where he teaches, motivates, and inspires them on the importance of character and integrity.”
Not many people have received the Silver Star, the Bronze Star, and the Purple Heart for their military heroism, and not many people have decided to open and operate a new business at the age of 77. Lynn Lowder brings his hard-earned combat leadership experience, and his “it’s never too late” mentality to each of his inspirational presentations. Lynn shares his wisdom on how to build character, resiliency, self-discipline, leadership skills, and a deeper spiritual faith to create “360° Success” in life.
A Marine special operations team leader, Lynn led 24 long-range reconnaissance patrols during the Vietnam War and was highly decorated for his bravery. After the Marines, he became a successful trial attorney, and later became a general counsel and C-level operating officer for several companies. With his “it’s never too late” mentality, Lynn, at the age of 77, opened Rosie’s Home Cookin’, a diner, in Naperville, Illinois. His extensive, hands-on leadership and management experiences in business, law, and the military make him a well-rounded source of hard-earned, real-world wisdom.
For the past 25 years, Lynn has spoken to military groups, business professionals, athletes, coaches, students, and religious groups. Audience members have benefited from his insightful, down-to-earth perspectives on success in leadership, business, relationships, and life. Lynn works closely with his clients to ensure his messages address their specific needs and that his presentations are consistently uplifting and practical for each audience.

“BOUNCE-BACK” – THE RESILIENCE FACTOR
Living life means facing frequent challenges, that include disappointments, failures, setbacks and losses. These events are sometimes unanticipated and unavoidable, but the ability to stay calm and recover from setbacks is critical to success in any situation. Resilience is not a trait you have or don’t have—everyone can learn and develop resilient thoughts, behaviors, and actions. In this presentation, you will learn:
- how to develop the self-confidence to handle any adverse circumstance
- how to stay calm during adversity
- how to identify the core issues involved
- how to respond rapidly and effectively to any setback, business reversal, personal disappointment, and more
- that life’s setbacks are often a chance for character development and unique opportunities
SELF-DISCIPLINE = SUCCESS
Self-discipline is the single greatest predictor for success in anyone’s business or personal life. High levels of self-discipline lead to high levels of achievement; low levels lead to less than optimum results. Simply said, a person who cannot control themselves or their desires and behavior will never develop into the best version of themselves, and they will never achieve their full potential. In this presentation, you will learn:
- why self-discipline is the greatest of all success principles
- how to achieve and maintain a life of total self-discipline
- how self-discipline affects our self-ideal, self-image, and self-respect
- how to re-program your brain’s hard drive to achieve self-discipline
- the importance of self-talk in achieving ultimate self-discipline
HOW TO CREATE AND MOTIVATE A TEAM
The word “team” is often associated within the terms “team building” and “teamwork,” especially in the business world. Successful, high-performing organizations have long recognized the power and effectiveness of teams whose members are deeply committed to common goals. When team members work together, they can often reach, maintain, or exceed their goals. However, leadership is the key factor in creating and maintaining a true “team” environment. In this presentation, you will learn:
- how to be the leader others willingly believe in and follow
- how to establish group membership criteria
- how to achieve and maintain group buy-in
- how to reach, maintain and exceed goals
- how to celebrate the wins, learn from the shortfalls, and press on
