Background: After five years of auditing with Price Waterhouse, Mark spent most of his business career as a senior executive at the Chicago Tribune/ Tribune Company, managing production and newsprint and ink purchasing for Tribune’s ten national newspapers, with additional corporate responsibility for various financial, capital project budgeting/ tracking, and project management functions.  He then consulted at Newegg.com, improving internal business processes and profitability.  Recently, Mark and his wife Judy founded and operated Garfield Produce Company, an indoor hydroponic farm in Chicago’s East Garfield Park to provide job opportunities for its residents, including those with felony records.
