A veteran Owned Business in every ward

A VETERAN-OWNED BUSINESS IN EVERY CHICAGO WARD

Empowering Veterans to Own Local Businesses

VETERANS MAKE GREAT BUSINESS OWNERS.

Veteran Business Project (VBP) is on a mission to create veteran-owned businesses in all 50 Chicago wards, starting with pilot programs in the 6th and 36th Wards.

This initiative helps veterans take ownership of existing businesses, providing mentorship and resources while giving retiring business owners a way to pass their legacy into good hands.

With the support of Alderman William Hall (6th Ward) and Alderman Gilbert Villegas (36th Ward), we're creating real opportunities for veterans, businesses, and communities across Chicago.

HOW IT WORKS

  • Veterans receive mentorship, coaching, and financial guidance to take ownership of existing businesses.

  • Business owners find motivated buyers who value their legacy, ensuring continuity and success.

  • Communities benefit from stronger local economies, job retention, and thriving small businesses led by dedicated veteran entrepreneurs.
