Joshua Marquez
Joshua Marquez is a Marine Corps veteran that had the opportunity to honorably and faithfully serve aboard the USS Essex (LHD-2) with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit and alongside the Wolfpack at 3rd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion. After his service in the Marines, Joshua pivoted to technology in Silicon Valley. It was in the technology sector where he first recognized the barrier to entry veteran entrepreneurs are facing when starting or scaling their business – access to capital. Joshua went on to lead a veteran and military spouse focused lending initiative at a nationally renowned and JPMorgan Chase & Co. funded financial institution in Silicon Valley. He is currently a commercial real estate investor and was afforded the great honor to have 2020 Presidential Candidate Elizabeth Warren as a tenant during the 2020 United States presidential election. Joshua also works with several companies as a business strategist, providing financial guidance and growth hacking. Joshua holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from California State University, East Bay.
